'Mr. Robot' season 2 spoilers: New characters introduced; more personas of Elliot?

USA Network's drama-thriller series "Mr. Robot" season 2 has finally arrived. Fans have been waiting to catch new episodes for it especially after the season 1 finale ended on a major cliffhanger. But what can fans expect in the all-new season?

Those who loyally followed the show know already that the techno-thriller had a secret premiere online. It featured two flashback scenes, one showing Elliot's childhood and the other one showing a conversation with Tyrell Wellick and the fsociety. It also introduced new character Leon, played by rapper Joey Bada$$. He is made known as Elliot's friend who is obsessed with Seinfeld.

The Wall Street Journal also revealed the other new actors that will be joining the show for season 2. One is Craig Robinson ("The Office") who will play as one of Elliot's new allies. The other one is Grace Gummer, ("Extant") who will be playing as an FBI agent assigned to investigate the Evil Corp hack.

A lot is expected to take place in the show especially since season 1 had raised the bar so high for season 2. It will still keep the weird element that it had in the previous season but major differences are expected to happen. Several theories have also surfaced already.

One speculation noted by Heavy said that other personas of Elliot may be revealed in the second run of the show. Some are suspecting that Elliot and Tyler are the same person. Yet, with Tyler missing or dead in the first season, other fans are doubting the theory.

If it turns out that Elliot has more than just one persona, the others could be revealed throughout the new run. Reports also stated that Elliot's delusions in the second season will be stronger than ever. There's no certainty anymore whether the scenes are real or just actions playing out in the mind of Elliot.

Fans will have to stay tuned for "Mr. Robot" season 2. The show airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on USA.
