'Mr. Robot' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Show makes history by integrating virtual reality scene

"Mr. Robot" season 2 will feature a virtual reality (VR) scene, proving that the award-winning series just gets better and better and that it keeps up with the latest tech and innovations.
NBC Universal Cable Entertainment chief content officer, Jeff Wachtel revealed the news via Variety. Discussing the scene while remaining coy about it, he said, "It's really about storytelling. It's intimate and about the characters."
It comes as no shock that "Mr. Robot" season 2 will boast a VR scene, especially since show creator Sam Esmail has repeatedly made known his plans about telling the story in visually.
"I am so very specific in how I want to shoot the show and the visual grammar of how I want to tell the story," Esmail told the same publication earlier this year.
Esmail is very particular when it comes to visual and cinematic quality, as what he pointed out in a Digital Trends interview back in January. With a VR scene include in "Mr. Robot" season 2, Esmail appears to be taking his visions to a whole new level.
The said publication believes that "Mr. Robot" season 2 will no doubt start the VR trend to the small screen, something that definitely excites fans of TV.
