Fans of "NCIS" might not be ready to let go of Agent Anthony DiNozzo to leave the show. The character played by Michael Weatherly will have his last moments in the show during the upcoming episodes leading to the season finale.

Nevertheless, most people who watch the series will welcome the new addition of the highly popular TV show. According to reports, Sarah Clarke, famous for her role in "24," is expected to replace Weatherly in the upcoming episodes of the show's season 13. Rumor has it that the production team is planning on making Clarke as a regular cast member of "NCIS."

According to TV Guide, Clarke's character will be Tess Monroe, the "tough and shrewd but sexy," law enforcement agent from New York City. The website added that Monroe has had several divorce proceedings, which suggests her tough luck in finding true love. The character is loyal to the department, which she considers as her family because she doesn't have children or a family to go home to. Fans will certainly find Monroe as sarcastic, strong and tough but later on they will realize that she also has a big heart, who put her life for honor and justice.

In his part, NCIS' writer, Gary Glasberg is excited to have Clarke in the show.

"We feel so fortunate to have Sarah Clarke joining us to play Tess," Glasberg said in a statement through TV Guide. "I've been a fan of hers going back to 24 and more recently Bosch. She's a gifted actress, a total pro, and we can't wait to introduce her to our NCIS family and have some fun." Clarke is slated to appear in the last two episodes of the season as an obvious replacement for Weatherly's departure.

Meanwhile, in the upcoming episode, which will air on Apr. 5, Tony will deal with huge problem of identity theft, as he becomes a victim to the crime. His identity will be used by suspects to blackmail senators.
