The long-awaited "NCIS" season 13 finale has been aired. The days of Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) throwing himself in danger everyday on the job are done after meeting Ziva's (Cote de Pablo) daughter Tali.

Although there are a lot of reasons to go back to that episode and relive it over again, executive producer Gary Glasberg urges fans to watch the "NCIS" once more. This time, viewers would want to pay attention to Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and DiNozzo's talk.

"Really watch and listen. Hear what's being said. Pay attention. Tony DiNozzo is at peace. And he and Tali are moving on, searching for answers and happiness, just like the team has to move on as well," Glasberg said via the NCIS Twitter.

"In Gibbs' basement, Gibbs and Tony agree on something very important, 'You gotta do what you do gotta do. And you gotta believe what you gotta believe.' Thanks for believing," he continued.

Glasberg also assured that fans don't have anything to worry about in the "NCIS" season 14 even with DiNozzo now out of the picture.

He promised that the light tone, exciting crime stories, human mysteries and fun, as well as the balance among all those, will still be the core of the show post-DiNozzo era.

Although there will be new characters and dynamics, Glasberg assured to Deadline that the tone of "NCIS" season 14 won't change. "NCIS as a show, as a franchise, doesn't change," he emphasized.

"NCIS" season 14 will have a lot of stories to tell, especially with Gibbs, one of the first characters on the show, still present. Add to that the newcomers that are sure to bring fresh and exciting narratives to the table.

New characters namely MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves (Duane Barry) and FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe (Sarah Clarke) will surely shake things up at the office.

"NCIS" season 14 is expected to premiere this fall.
