Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 low in stocks; Graphics card comes with five transformational technologies

Technology company Nvidia has finally released its latest flagship, the GeForce GTX 1080. And as expected, the Pascal-based gaming graphics card has been selling well along with Nvidia's other product, the GTX 1070. Sales have been excellent but the production has not been doing so well.

According to reports, the unexpected high demand for the product has caused product shortage. Majority of the retail outlets are out of stock and interested buyers are having a hard time getting access to it. Some have even take advantage of the situation by price gouging the new GeForce cards. Rumors have it that Nvidia is facing some struggle with production, affecting the GPU supply.

But despite the supply issue that is going on, the GeForce GTX 1080 remains to be a gaming graphics card that is the most advanced so far. Reviews have indicated that it can provide off the charts performance, power efficiency and gaming experience, and it's all thanks to the new Nvidia Pascal architecture.

As detailed in WCCF Tech, the California-based technology company developed the Pascal architecture to handle the massive computing demands of technologies like VR. It integrates five transformational technologies including a next-gen GPU architecture, giving the GTX 1080 thrice the power efficiency than the Maxwell Architecture.

The new GPU is also made for the 16nm FinFET process. It has advanced memory with the product equipped with the power of 8 GB of Micron's GDDR5X memory and 256-bit memory interface running at 10Gb/sec. There's also the clock speed that has never been reached before. It produces over 1700 MHz while consuming only 180 watts of power.

Lastly, Nvidia has changed the element of gaming from development to play to sharing. This allows players to share their gaming experience and go through gaming worlds in unique ways. Those who are into gaming will want to pick up this top solution for their gaming needs. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 retails for $699.
