'One Piece' chapter 831 spoilers news 2016: Will Jinbe survive?

"One Piece" fans are now waiting for chapter 831. Many events took place in the previous chapter and now fans are wondering what will happen next especially to Jinbe. His life was put in danger after expressing his desire to join Luffy's crew in chapter 830.

Titled "He Who Gets Bet On," the previous chapter showed the whale shark fishman Jinbe wanting Luffy. He wants to hop on board the Straw Hats and if he will need to sacrifice his life in order to do that, he will do so. For him, he believes that Luffy will change the world. He thinks that Luffy has the ability to bring peace to Fishman Island.

He is surprised with the reaction of his own crew who supported his decision. They told Jinbe that he should follow his heart's desires. However, they knew that it wasn't going to be easy. Leaving Big Mom's crew will take a lot of effort. To add to that, he is married to Charlotte Praline, which means he is basically part of Big Mom's family.

Praline reminded everyone that no one came out of her mother's crew alive. Jinbe still approached Big Mom though to tell her that he will be cutting connections with her. Big Mom luckily did not eat him alive but she asked to bring in the roulette. She will let Jinbe go with a condition and that is to lose something valuable from him as well. The roulette will determine what will be cut off from Jinbe.

It's not known yet what it would be but it could be his arms, legs and even his head, which means he could die. Spoilers suggest that Jinbe is most likely to survive though. The Sea King has a good luck charm with him and he has been noticeably kind and compassionate.

His life may be spared in chapter 831 unless Big Mom decides to kill him even if it's supposed to be his arm that is to be cut off.
