OnePlus 3 release date, specs news: 6 GB version leaks again in benchmark listing

Since the OnePlus 3 will be out soon, more leaks and teasers for the flagship have been bouncing around the web, especially as the device drops by various benchmark sites.
The OnePlus 3 recently paid a visit to GFX Bench, where it showed off its 6 GB of RAM, which has been rumored for a while now. This model comes with 64 GB of storage. It is expected to come with a 32 GB version and a 128 GB version as well.
This benchmark visit goes in line with the Oppomart listing that claims the OnePlus 3 will come in six variants— half of which will offer 6 GB of RAM and the rest with 4 GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 3 that popped by GFX Bench also had a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor powering it up. It's one of the most powerful mobile chipsets right now so this is no shocker. The flagship also houses a Qualcomm Adreno 530 graphics processing unit (GPU).
The device was revealed in the leak with a 5.5-inch Full HD display believed to be AMOLED and the camera on the back is at 16-megapixel while the front-facing shooter boasts 8 megapixels.
The camera duo takes amazing shots with the sample photos that made the rounds a couple of days ago as proof. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shared the said photos but quickly removed them. Thankfully, they were picked up by an Indian tech site PriceRaja.
Moving on, the OnePlus 3 will run a customized Oxygen-based Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will feature a fingerprint scanner as well. On the design front, the device's body will be made of metal.
The OnePlus 3 will be fully unveiled on June 15. There will be stores open in New York, Paris, London, Berlin, Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore on that day where users can try the smartphone and purchase it from there.
OnePlus will reveal its flagship through its Virtual Reality (VR) app. Those who are tuned in will get the chance to buy the OnePlus 3 two and a half hour early before the rest.
