'Outlander' season 2 finale spoilers, plot news: Airing postponed to July 9

Fans of the hit Starz production "Outlander" will have to wait a full week before they can get to see the season finale. The network will re-air the previous 12 episodes of the series, as a way for fans to catch up on the historical drama.
Hall of Fame Magazine has come up with spoilers for episode 13, and it is reported that fans will see Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in Lallybroch with her grown daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton). There, they meet an adult Roger (Richard Rankin), who tells them about the Battle of Culloden, and Jamie's (Sam Heughan) survival. Claire then searches for Randall's grave, but she finds Jamie's tombstone instead. Claire then decides to tell Brianna about her true parentage after keeping it a secret from her for over 20 years.
Episode 13 will also see the day that the Battle of Culloden begins, and Claire's attempts at stopping the Jacobite uprising fail, as history refuses to be changed.
In an interview with Variety, Catriona Balfe talks about her character and her efforts in trying to stop the battle from happening. She says, "The inevitability of it is barreling down on them, it feels like a pressure cooker – no matter what they do, no matter what they try, fate is stronger than their will."
Balfe also teases an unlikely allegiance, with Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) striking a deal with Claire in episode 12.
In past episode, the viewers got to see a more human side to Black Jack as he grieved violently over his brother's death. His brother Alex (Laurence Dobiesz) had impregnated Mary (Rosie Day), and Alex's dying wish was for Black Jack to wed Mary to protect the child in the future.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Menzies says, "He (Alex) brought out the good in his older brother, and so for Black Jack to lose that, it turns his world upside down."
To watch more of the story unfold, fans can watch the season finale of "Outlander" on Saturday, July 9, at 9 p.m. EDT on Starz.
