'Overwatch' release date rumors: Official game, beta version launch date revealed
Game developer Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced the release of their new video game, "Overwatch," which will be on May 24, 2016. It was previously set for a June release and fans are delighted with an earlier roll out.
Before its big release, fans will be treated with the beta version of the game, which will be available to them from May 5 to 9. However, those who preorder the game will have the opportunity to be the first ones to play as they will be given access on May 3.

It is certainly a big decision for Blizzard to let fans try the beta version first before they get to play the full game.
Players can start preordering "Overwatch" by April 29. They can make the pre-purchase on the game's official website; however, it is also available on other payment options.
"As a newly added bonus, if you pre-purchase or preorder Overwatch for any platform at www.buyoverwatch.com, you'll also get early access to the open beta for you and a friend from May 3 to 4," Blizzard Entertainment wrote. "After that, everyone will have a chance to play free during an all-access open beta period from May 5 to 9."
"Overwatch" is a multiplayer shooter game. It will be team-based, wherein players do battle in the world of conflict. Players will be banded together to fight evil and bring peace to the world that is torn by war. The game will feature unique choices of heroes and all of them will have their own special skills and power, which will help them fight various antagonists to save the earth.
