'Persona 5' release date news, updates: Catherine costumes, new DLCs released

Role-playing video game "Persona 5" has turned out to be a success in Japan but developer Atlus is not done yet as they are adding more features in celebration of the game's success.
According to reports, Atlus has released a second batch of paid and free downloadable contents (DLCs). Included in the free pack are two new costume sets which are dated to be released on Oct. 5 in Japan. One of the sets is the Swimsuit bundle which will give the Phantom Thieves the opportunity to don their beach attire even during dungeon crawls.
However, it is noted that none of the costumes are similar to Akihiko's dashing "speedo with modest t-shirt" combo that originated from "Persona 3." Also available for free is a Catherine-themed pack. Formally called "Catherin Costume & BGM Special Set," the pack comes with the "Adults Who've Lost Their Way Costumes" and "Catherine Nightmare BGM & Battle Single." Aside from that, there's also the "Lambs' Pillow" accessory item which is exclusive.
Gamers who are interested in picking up the free items must be quick as it will expire by Oct. 10. Afterward, the costumes will cost 800 yen or $8. Reports also note that there will be free background music and accessories.
As for the paid DLCs, it's detailed that Atlus has brought in both familiar and new character skins for both the main cast and their Personas. Included in the list are Kaguya and Kaguya Zokujin Set, Thanatos and Thanatos Zokujin Set, Morganabus stickers, Magatsu-Izanagi and Magatsu-Izanagi Zokujin Set, Thanatos and Thanatos Picaro, Orpheus and Orpheus Picaro, Izanagi and Orpheus Picaro and plenty more.
Fans worldwide are still waiting for "Persona 5" to be released in North America and Europe. It's scheduled to be released on Feb. 14, 2017 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
