PlayStation Plus August 2016 free games list: Nintendo finally reveals games included for August

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be happy to hear that the free games for August 2016 have been revealed, and the lineup includes the game that most players had been speculating on — "Yakuza 5."
According to the PlayStation blog, the two new games for the Playstation 4 this coming month are "Tricky Towers" and "Rebel Galaxy." For PlayStation 3 users, the free games will include the much awaited "Yakuza 5" and "Retro/Grade," while PS Vita players will get "Patapon 3." Finally, "Ultratron" will also come free in August and will be available for all consoles.
Details about the new titles for PS4 have also been released. "Tricky Towers" is a physics-based game from WeirdBeard Games, and it's recommended fun for a multiplayer game. The game will allow players to cast spells to distract each other as they build their own individual towers. As for its gameplay, players can expect it to be "fast, fun, and addictive" that will keep them coming back for more.
On the other hand, "Rebel Galaxy" is a space combat role-playing game (RPG) developed by Double Damage, which lets players become a natural Mal Reynolds as they fly around space, collecting bounties and trading valuables. According to the blog, it's set in a "procedurally generated universe" wherein "no two star systems are the same." Players therefore will have a whole lot to discover with this one.
Before the release of the official list, fans had been scrambling around online trying to figure out what games would be available for free as part of the PlayStation Plus August 2016 lineup. Reddit users had been busy speculating on the upcoming games. One claimed that "Mother Russia Bleeds" and "Tomb Raider Definitive Edition" would be available for the PS4, while "Ratchet and Clank: Q-Force" would be available for the PS3, along with "Yakuza 5". For the Playstation Vita, initial speculations suggested that "Soul Sacrifice Delta" and "Prince of Persia: Rival Swords" would be up for grabs.
Fans will be happy to know that they guessed "Yakuza 5" right. The free games (and some special discounts) will be available this August.
