It's been weeks already since Niantic released "Pokemon GO" and by now, many have already discovered some of the Easter eggs in the augmented reality mobile game. True enough, the web is now packed with tips and secrets that gamers of all levels can take note of.

One popular Easter egg right now is the Eevee evolution. During the game's San Diego Comic-Con 2016 presentation, Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke confirmed that gamers can control the evolution of Pokémon specie Eevee.

Before this was confirmed, gamers thought that Eevee evolution was completely random. They thought that once they already have the candy to evolve the character, it will be up to the algorithm of the game to choose whether it will turn into Flareion, Vaporeon or Jolteon. It turns out that players have the power to choose.

To make this happen, players will only have to name their Eevee as Sparky, Rainer or Pyro. The character will then evolve into Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon, respectively. This Easter egg is actually based on the "Pokémon" anime episode titled "The Battling Eevee Brother," which debuted the Eevee evolutions into the show.

Aside from the Eevee Easter egg, there are actually still a lot more to discover in "Pokémon GO." Reports claim that the game is still at 10 percent, which means there are still a lot more that Niantic has yet to add into the game.

Twinfinite detailed several other Easter eggs in the game including that of crossing paths with Chansey, the adorable-looking pink character that can provide natural cure to injured Pokémon.

Those who have already encountered Chansey know that the highest chance of getting it is by hatching a 10 km egg. But there's another way to get Chansey and it will involve gamers visiting pharmacies, clinics and hospitals.

Chansey and Eevee Easter eggs are just some of the few secrets in the game but Hanke hinted that there are still a lot hidden that no one has found yet.
