After the beta testing rounds in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, it is time for the United States to experience the upcoming augmented reality mobile gaming app, "Pokemon GO." In the coming weeks, those residents of the United States who have submitted their application to become one of the lucky few in the country to test the game's current version can expect a message of confirmation from Niantic. Meanwhile, the mobile game developer company revealed the new gym battle mechanics being applied to "Pokemon GO."

Many Pokemon fans were excited with the announcement of the Pokemon mobile game's development, although the game still does not have a final release date. This is why many fans in the United States became stoked as the beta testing for Pokemon GO has arrived in the country. However, not everyone who applied to become a beta tester will be accepted. After all, Niantic must be very careful in choosing the right beta testers to not allow further leakage of the game's current contents. Also, the beta testers should be able to address issues in the game effectively and recommend helpful ideas to make the game even better.

On the other hand, IGN reported Niantic revealing the new gym battle system that the Pokemon GO players should be looking forward to. In the upcoming Pokemon game, players will have to battle for gym prestige. In the new gym battle mechanics, Pokemon trainers must assign their own Pokemons to a certain gym where other trainers will try to defeat their bets.

Also, TechCrunch reported that "Pokemon GO" will still feature the same real-world location settings similar to the previous Pokemon games. For one, Pokemon Eggs will only be hatched if the players have walked an enough distance. The gym battle will also be set in real-world locations where players will choose their best lineup of Pokemons to fight.
