One common question that Pokémon trainers have been asking is regarding the hatching of the eggs. According to Polygon, hatching eggs in the game is one of the essential elements that every gamer must learn to do. Gamers are given the ability to acquire eggs and incubate them in order to hatch. Once the egg is hatched, they will be able to get a Pokémon monster that will be added into their roster.

To get eggs, players must find them around the area. They are usually given as rewards in certain Pokéstops whenever a Pokémon hunter checks in. The eggs collected will then be placed on the central pokéball at the bottom of the user's screen where two tabs will pop out. One is "Pokemon" while the other is "Eggs." Under the Eggs tab, players can view all of their collected eggs.

The next step is to hatch them. As detailed in Bustle, hunters will have to stretch their legs and do some walking or trekking in order to get the incubation started. Each egg comes with a certain distance that one must walk for it to successfully hatch. Tips say that the further a gamer walks to hatch the egg, the more unique and powerful the Pokémon monster they will get.

To start the incubation, players will simply just pick an egg to hatch and click on "Start Incubation." Details will then be provided including the distance one must walk. The device will serve as the pedometer in order to keep track of the distance. For those who think that they can cheat by driving the distance away, the game will not accept it.

Players will be notified once the egg is ready to hatch.
