'Pokemon Go' tips and tricks 2016: Most powerful Pokemon and the most difficult to catch

Ever since the release of "Pokemon Go," thousands of players have been getting out of their houses to collect different wild Pokemon to add to their collection. The gameplay pretty much works like the original games, except with more actual walking from the gamers. Players roam around throwing Pokeballs at different Pokemon in an area, and they can go to different gyms and battle other players' Pokemon there. The battle mechanics seem different, but that hasn't stopped anyone from looking for the rarest and most valuable Pokemon.

Twinfinite has come up with a list of tips for players who are aiming to catch the best Pokemon out there. For one, seasoned gamers will remember that it's hard to really "collect them all" since starters are only available in the beginning of the game. And if a player gets one, they will not be able to get the other two, no matter how far they get in the game.

In "Pokemon Go," players can actually run into starters in the wild, but that would be extremely rare. Hence, if players see either a Charmander, a Bulbasaur, or a Squirtle, they have to act quick and catch it before it gets away. Players can even run into evolved versions of starters like Charizard or Blastoise; though difficult to beat, a rare catch is always a good catch.

For players looking for specific types, they can always remember that they will find those types if they are near their certain element. For water-type Pokemon, players will have to go to areas near bodies of water. For grass types, they can scour parks or any place that's rich in greenery. For ghost-types, they come out at night. There are a bunch of other common Pokemon that don't really pick locations, but some rarely pop up, and if they do, they can be very difficult to catch (like Onix or Mr. Mime).

Just remember, don't play "Pokemon Go" while driving, and be mindful of surroundings when in-game (like trying to catch a Zubat when crossing the street).
