'Pokémon GO' guide 2016: How to use a Razz Berry, where to find a Razz Berry?
"Pokémon GO" is not complete without the Razz Berry. Those who have played the previous "Pokemon" games are already acquainted with this item. But for those who are just starting out, it's important to get to know this item if they wish to set apart from the average players.

As detailed on IGN, Razz Berries in "Pokémon GO" are obtainable items. Appearing exactly like a raspberry, they will start popping out at higher levels when gamers start encountering more difficult monsters to catch.
They are also typically used to make catching of a rare Pokémon easier. In the previous games, Razz Berries are found in trees and gamers can harvest them. But in the new location-based augmented reality mobile game, Razz Berries can be found anywhere. It's been said that they usually appear after reaching level 8 in the game. They can be found in Pokestops or given out as a reward after every level up.
According to Android Authority, Razz Berries can only be utilized when the gamer is in the act of catching a Pokémon. Players must find a Pokémon first and once they are able to spot one, they can open their backpack to show the available items. Afterwards, they will select the Razz Berry and it will automatically appear on the screen where the Poke Ball usually sits.
Trainers will then have to throw the item like a Poké Ball to catch the monster. They don't have to worry about missing the throw though because Razz Berries are guaranteed to have a 100 percent hit rate. But one must take note that Razz Berries do not guarantee capture.
And in case the Pokémon keep escaping out of the Poké Ball when thrown, gamers can opt to use the balls in tandem with the berries as this technique is said to increase the chances of capturing the creatures successfully.
"Pokémon GO" is free to download and is available for iOS and Android smartphones.
