'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 spoilers, plot news: Unexpected proposal hinted; Jenna Marshall returns

Fans of American teen drama "Pretty Little Liars" better brace themselves as the most awaited answer to the question of who is getting hitched this season 7 will finally be revealed.

As teased in the promo for the upcoming "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 episode 5, an unexpected proposal is going to take place. It did not give away much clues though as to who among the couples will be getting married soon. Luckily, showrunner Marlene King dropped a tiny hint of what the proposal would be like.

One of her Twitter followers asked her a question on the social media platform about how emotional the proposal will be. King answered, "Extremely beautiful. Makes me cry every time I see it."

King's answer basically suggests that the proposal is going to be a very significant one and it's something that every loyal follower should be looking forward to. But King wasn't the only one who treated fans of the show to a spoiler. Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin, also posted on her Instagram account about the proposal.

Showing a photo of herself with Tyler Blackburn (Caleb Rivers), she captioned it with, "Who gets the proposal?" along with hashtags Haleb, Spaleb, Ezria, and Emmison. Fans were quick to notice that it did not include couple Spoby.

Could Benson mean that there is no happy ending for Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) and Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen)? Also, since the promo video did not include Alison DiLaurentis' (Sasha Pieterse) face towards the end, it could mean that there's a low chance for it to be Alison and Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell).

Meanwhile, Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) is back after five years and the liars' lives are shaken up again. TV Guide spoke to Sursok about her character and she revealed that Jenna apparently still carries a grudge against Spencer, Emily, Hanna, Alison, and Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale). She has also returned to mend her broken relationship with Toby.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 episode 5 will air on Tuesday, July 19 on Freeform.
