'Pro Evolution Soccer 2017' release date news update: Pre-order comes with bonuses

\"PES 2017\" | Konami

"Pro Evolution Soccer 2017" or "PES 2017" is all set to hit store shelves soon. Developer and publisher Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced already in a press release the schedules of release for the game.

North America will get the 16th installment in the series on Sept. 13 while the U.K. will receive the game on Sept. 15. There is no announcement yet regarding the release in South America or other parts of the world but it's expected to follow later on. It's also noted that the game will be two weeks earlier than the "FIFA 17."

"PES 2017" will be available to play on new-gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as in last-gen versions PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will also have a Windows PC version. The price for the professional soccer game has also been made known already and it's noted to have a difference. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will have a price tag of $59.99 while the rest will be $20 cheaper, amounting only to $39.99.

There is no definite explanation why the last-gen consoles and PC versions of the game come with a cheaper price, but speculations suggest that it is due to the incomplete features and visual difference brought by aging hardware.

The game is designed to run on Konami's Fox Engine which is also the same technology that powers "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." With this advancement, the game is expected to display "new heights" for visuals and gameplay. Apparently, the last-gen versions will not be able to completely deliver such.

Reports also revealed that "PES 2017" is now available for pre-order. Those who will send in their orders early will get plenty of bonus items for the MyClub mode. It's not specified yet what Konami has prepared to give away but more details about the pre-order bonuses will be announced soon. Fans will have to stay tuned and watch out.
