Supernatural fiction drama series "Salem" is currently on hiatus, but it will be back soon for another round of horror and gothic romance. To up the hype even further, the first full trailer has been released ahead of the show's 2016 Comic-Con panel, giving fans a sneak peek of what's to come in "Salem" season 3.

As seen in the teaser, the third run of the series is going to be bloody and sinister. The main plotline this season revolves around Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) who will be rising up from the grave to accomplish a very important mission.

Followers of the show may remember that Mary died at the end of season 2. John Alden (Shane West) buried her in the woods without the knowledge that she won't be underground for too long. It was also found out that her son, Little John (Oliver Bell), is the devil, and his existence made things worse for everyone in Salem.

According to the show's season 3 synopsis, Mary's son will be a problem to the witches' plan to remake the New World. They initially thought that he was the key to their plans, but it turns out that the devil is a liar and instead of bringing a New World that is free from Puritan hypocrisy, he will be showering death and misery to everyone.

The devil must be stopped, but the only person who can do that is his own mother, Mary. However, how could she deal with that matter if she's dead? Spoilers show that Mary will resurrect from the dead. Tituba (Ashley Madekwe) is seen on the trailer trying to dig up the corpse of Mary.

She is also heard in the teaser saying, "I have seen the future that we have built. You must kill your son." But will Mary be able to successfully take down his own son?

"Salem" season 3 will premiere on Oct. 31 on WGN America.
