Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 release date, price & specs update 2016: Both smartphones launched in India

The company had already launched the two smartphones in China and South Korea. Although the handsets that were recently launched in India are different from the ones released in China, all versions are said to have been well received by tech fans.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 sports specs and features that are quite impressive for an affordable mid-class smartphone. According to the report the handset carries a 5.2-inch AMOLED display, while the slightly bigger Samsung Galaxy J7 sports a 5.5-inch screen. The Galaxy J5 is powered by Qualcomm's 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, along with 2 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 is running with a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos processor. Although the Galaxy J7's processor is slightly more powerful than the J5, it will carry the same 2 GB of RAM under its hood. The J7 will also have a better battery feature with 3,300 mAh compared to the 3,100 mAh of the Galaxy J5.
Both Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 are already in the market with pre-installed Android Marshmallow operating system. Both devices have 16 GB of on-board storage capacity, which is expandable via microSD. They will also carry a 13-megapixel primary camera, which has the basic flash and an aperture of f/1.9. Both smartphones will also be carrying 5 MP selfie shooter, which also has LED flash for better imaging capture.
Meanwhile, the Chinese version of the Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 carries a 3 GB of RAM compared to the 2 GB of RAM on the South Korean and Indian version. It also has a better screen technology with its 1,080p display system.
Tech fans should be able to get the Samsung Galaxy J5 for $210 or Rs. 13,990. On the other hand, fans can get the Galaxy J7 for Rs. 15,990 or around $240.
