Samsung Galaxy J5, Samsung Galaxy J7 specs rumors: Prices for each device revealed

Samsung has just announced the prices of its latest smartphone models, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in South Korea. It was first introduced in China last March and the company now hopes that it will have the same reception in South Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 is now listed at KRW 290,000 or $255 if converted to US dollars. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy J7 has a price of KRW 363,000 or approximately $319 in US dollars.

The Samsung Galaxy J5, which is also called as Samsung J5 Duos, carries impressive specs and features. It boasts a 5.2-inch AMOLED capacitive display. It also has multi-touch technology on its screen and 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. The specs under the hood are headed by MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 by Qualcomm, Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU. It also has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage capacity, which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The smartphone also sport a 13-MP rear snapper and a 5-MP front shooter.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy J7 has the same display features as the Samsung Galaxy J5 except for the screen size. The Galaxy J7 carries a bigger 5.5-inch display compared to the other model. They also have the same camera features as both shooters have LED flash. Both smartphones are also running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Tech Times reported that Samsung has been pretty successful with their releases this year. The company's Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge have been dominating the high-end market since their release in March 2016. The Galaxy J series also has the same success especially in the Asian market.

As of now, the Korean tech giant has yet to announce if the company will have an international release of both Samsung Galaxy J5 and Samsung Galaxy J7.
