Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime coming to India; Specs include 5.5-inch display, fingerprint scanner, 13MP camera

Samsung is bringing the Galaxy J7 Prime to India. After being released in Vietnam, the mid-range device will roll in New Delhi with a price tag of Rs 18,790.
According to reports, the information surfaced even before Samsung could make the official announcement. A Mumbai-based leaker went ahead and revealed that the device will be out by this weekend. However, there is no confirmation from the South Korean tech giant yet.
As for the specs and features of the Galaxy J7 Prime, it's detailed that it comes with a 5.5-inch full super AMOLED IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 . It's also equipped with 1.6GHz octa-core CPU paired with 3 GB of RAM. Its native storage capacity is 32 GB which can be expanded further via microSD card. Keeping its lights on is a 3,300mAh battery pack.
With regards to its camera features, reports detailed that the device comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9aperture and LED flash. Meanwhile, the secondary camera is a 5-megapixel snapper with f/1.9 aperture as well.
The Galaxy J7 Prime also runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is incorporated with 4G LTE connectivity. Moreover, the handset also has Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, microUSB with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The smartphone also features dual-SIM support and sports a metal unibody. It's noted that the Galaxy J7 Prime model is a tad bit better compared to the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). But overall, the two devices are similar as most of their features match. The Galaxy J7 (2016) sports a metal frame and brushed metal black, though. Both devices are an upgrade to the Galaxy J7 (2015) which carried a plastic body.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is available in two colors, black and gold, and has a thin profile with the thickness measuring 8.1mm. Those who are interested in purchasing the smartphone in India should stay tuned to get more updates regarding its availability.
