Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release date, specs news 2016: Phablet previewed in new leaked videos

As the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 nears, more leaks and details about the much talked about phablet make the rounds online.
A couple of new videos featuring the device were uploaded on YouTube, giving users a brief look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 before it officially hits the stores in less than two weeks.
The first video shows what appears to be a fully-functional Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Looking at the design, it appears that the device sported little to no bezels.

The person in the video tried opening apps and showed how quick they launch on the phablet. Not much can be taken away from the video but it served as proof that the smartphone is ready for its big unveiling.
In another video, the iris scanner was the star of the show. The clip was only five seconds long, as it was straight to the point in showing how easy and quick it is to unlock the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with only the user's eyes.
A bunch of screenshots also showed some guidelines on how to use the iris scanner. As per GSM Arena, Samsung advises users not to use it with glasses or contact lenses on.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been in the rumor mill for months. It is expected to come with a 5.7-inch Quad High Definition Super AMOLED display.
It will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor although a version with the next-generation Exynos is presumed to be released as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will reportedly come with 4 GB of RAM, but users can go bigger with a 6 GB version.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is reportedly getting 64 GB of storage expandable up to 2 TB with a microSD card. It is also expected to sport a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 MP selfie snapper.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is set to be launched at the Samsung Unpacked event scheduled Aug. 2.
