Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro, Galaxy On7 Pro specs, price news: Company finally unveils newest devices

Samsung has finally announced their newest devices, the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro. The successors of last year's Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7, the new variants come with upgraded specs and features and will be available exclusively on Amazon India.

Reports stated that the On5 Pro will be priced at INR 9,190 or $137 while the On7 Pro will have a price tag of INR 11,190 or $167. The devices are different from each other although there are a few details that make them similar.

For starters, both devices carry a 5-megapixel front camera. Both also support dual 4G SIMs. Under the hood, one will be able to find a 2 GB of RAM and an internal memory space of 16 GB with expandable storage via microSD card. It can be expanded up to 128 GB.

The On5 Pro and On7 Pro are also both pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and feature the S Bike mode which was first found in the Galaxy J-series. Moreover, both devices sport faux leather back panels. It's also noted that the two new models come with the Ultra Data Saving mode, the palm gesture selfie mode and the 120 degree selfie mode.

Apparently, the devices aren't really that far from each other. As for their differences, Digital Trends detailed that the On5 Pro comes with a 5-inch display with 1,280x720 pixel resolution. It also runs with a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 chipset and has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Powering it up is a 2,600mAh battery pack.

Meanwhile, the On7 Pro is a larger smartphone compared to the On5 Pro. With a display size of 5.5-inches, it features a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280 with HD TFT and sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It runs with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and gets power from a 3,000mAh battery.
