Its tablet sales may be going down but that doesn't stop Samsung from releasing one more. Reports suggest that the South Korean tech giant is adding another product in their Galaxy Tab S line-up, which is the Galaxy Tab S3.

According to a report by Tech Radar, the device is a follow-up to the company's 2015 Galaxy Tab S2. And though none has been confirmed yet, several leaks and rumors have surfaced to give interested consumers a sneak peek on what may possibly arrive with the tablet.

In a Twitter post by serial tipster Evan Blass, he showed off a purported image of the said Galaxy Tab S3. He did not give away a lot of details but the pictures itself displayed the back and front view of the device. It also showed that two color variants are expected, which are black and white.

It's also noted that the device does not look far different from its predecessor. Softpedia detailed that the only apparent difference is the back cover which appears like a Sandstone layer. As for the specs and features of the tablet, a previous listing from GFXBench back in February revealed that the Tab S3 will have two size variants. One will come with a 9.7-inch display while the other one will have an 8-inch display.

GSM Arena reported that both variants will have a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The pre-installed operating system will be Android 6.0 Marshmallow and its RAM count will be 3 GB with a native storage space of 32 GB. The device is also rumored to feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

It's said to be equipped under the hood with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset with four Cortex-A72 and four A53 CPU cores. The speculated battery is 4,000mAh for the 8-inch variant. None has been mentioned yet for the power capacity of the bigger variant.

The release date is expected to be in July or August. But since none of the details are official yet, it's best to take these reports with a pinch of salt.
