Samsung may be gearing up for the release of its next Galaxy Note model, but it has not forgotten to promote its Tizen-powered smartphone, the Galaxy Z2.
According to reports, a leaked official video showing off the device has surfaced on the web, giving fans a sneak peek of what will come with the entry-level smartphone. The simple video revealed that the handset will be equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

It's also said to sport a 5-megapixel rear camera with an auto selfie mode and beauty mode, and it will also support 4G LTE. Aside from that, it's spilled to be carrying a UDSM or ultra data saving mode, and it features an app called the My Money Transfer, which is actually only available in India. The video also highlighted a feature wherein the device's built-in flashlight brightness can be adjusted.
The video did not reveal much, but other details about the device have been released already in rumor mills. As said in a report, the Samsung Galaxy Z2 will come with a 3.97-inch display. Other reports say, though, that it will have a 4.5-inch display. It's also rumored that the processor of the device will be paired with just 1 GB of RAM with a native storage space of 8 GB.
As for the battery capacity, either a 1,500mAh or 2,000mAh battery pack is predicted. To those who are not yet aware, the Galaxy Z2 will be the first Tizen OS-powered smartphone to come with 4G LTE support. It's actually a big deal for a level-entry model in the Samsung line. It's expected to be pre-installed with Tizen OS 2.4.
The standard connectivity options are also included in the handset. It is going to have Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi as connectivity options. As of now, there is no specific date yet on when the device will debut. But given that a promotional video already exists, it may be launched soon.
