Samsung Tizen Z2 rumored to launch this week; to come with Reliance Jio 4G Preview offer

It is rumored that Samsung will finally launch their third Tizen-powered smartphone. Dubbed as the Samsung Z2, the device is reported to debut in an upcoming event in India this Thursday, Aug. 11.
Reports claim that the device is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 4,499 or around $69 and will be launched alongside the Galaxy Note 7 and the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro. It's also said to be packed with the Reliance Jio 4G preview offer which is already available on a few other Samsung smartphones.
For those who are not in the loop yet, it's detailed that the Jio 4G preview offer will give users unlimited downloads, unlimited HD voice services, unlimited texting services, and unlimited access to the Jio Apps Suite. There will also be unlimited video data and SMS for three months from the day of the activation of the Jio SIM.
Moreover, the 4G offer will preload the device with Jio Play, Jio Music, Jio Drive, Jio Money, and other Jio apps. The offer is only applicable to 4G-enabled Samsung smartphones such as the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, S6, S6 Edge, Galaxy A5, Note 5 Duos, and so on. This makes the Samsung Z2 unique on its own even as a mid-range device.
Details about the handset are scarce, but reports say that the Tizen-powered Z2 will sport a 4.5-inch display and will be equipped with a quad-core CPU and a random access memory (RAM) count of only 1 GB. Its battery capacity is said to be at 2,000mAh. Running with Tizen OS 3.0, the device will have dual SIM support with 4G and VoLTE.
The device has already reportedly received WiFi and Bluetooth certifications. It's also said that the Samsung Tizen Z2 will be available in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Other reports also suggest that aside from Asia, it will be launched in some African markets.
More details are expected to be released soon, so those who are interested to know more about the Samsung Z2 will have to stay tuned.
