'Scream Queens' season 2 spoilers news: New promo photos released; Hester still the villain?

The premiere of "Scream Queens" season 2 is fast approaching, and fans who got hooked to knowing who the Red Devil was are already excited to catch new thrilling episodes.
Recently, the show released new promotional photos that brought up more questions than answers to the table. It featured some of the original cast and the newcomers donning on hospital-related outfits as the new season 2 will swerve away from the campus setting and move to a hospital location.
There will be a three-year jump from the last events of the first season finale which means a lot of changes are going to take place. According to spoilers, the biggest change will be things regarding Hester played by Lea Michele.
Fans may recall that Hester was revealed at the end to be the Red Devil. But will she continue to be the villain in the new season? The "Glee" alum spoke to TV Guide, and she divulged that her character is going to be different. This time, she will be on the side of good.
"As the murders start to happen [in Season 2], everyone is obviously thinking that it's Hester again," the 29-year-old actress said. "She's quite adamant that she is not the killer this season, but that she will try and help them figure out who the killer is," she added.
Series creator Ian Brennan also spilled that Hester will not be in the hospital unlike the rest of the characters. He did not reveal where she is when the season opens, but reports say that Lea Michele was seen filming in California wearing her blue prison jumpsuit which has already been revealed. She was also seen escorted down the steps of what seemed to be a police station by two cops.
Fans can only assume that Hester has been turned in for all the murders she did last season. But how did it happen? Answers will be revealed when "Scream Queens" season 2 premieres on Sept. 20. on FOX.
