'Star Wars Battlefront - Bespin' DLC release date news update: Key art released; teases new spaceship, additional details

The "Star Wars Battlefront Bespin" downloadable content (DLC) was teased for a June release and now, Electronic Arts (EA) DICE has released the first wave of details about the much-awaited expansion pack.

First off, a beautiful key art for the "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC was shared showing off the Millennium Falcon heading straight for Cloud City, which is the main setting of the new content.

The most eye-catching bits on the artwork are the Cloud Cars, which the game does not have yet. It is believed that the said spaceships might be officially added in "Star Wars Battlefront" through the "Bespin" DLC.

The official description of "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC provided by EA DICE is as follows:

Take to the skies in the new cloud car vehicle and journey through Cloud City and the Administrator's Palace. The Bespin digital expansion will feature two new blasters to add to your arsenal. No matter your preference of short or long range combat, there will be something new to try out in Cloud City. Hunt enemies within the Bioniip Laboratories or carbon-freezing chambers with the new X-8 Night Sniper and EE-4 blasters.

As revealed months before, the "Star Wars Battlefront Bespin" DLC will add smuggler Lando Calrissian and bounty hunter Dengar as heroes. The characters will get new features for "unique gameplay abilities."

Lando's defining fighting strategy in "Star Wars Battlefront Bespin" DLC will be his skills in trickery while Dengar will carry a DLT-19, making him the first hero to ever wield a heavy blaster.

More details on the content will be revealed by EA DICE in the following days, prior to its initial release on June 21. On that day, season pass holders can access the DLC. Two weeks after (around July 5), the rest of "Star Wars Battlefront" players should be able to enjoy it as well.

Fans hope that an artwork featuring Lando Calrissian and Dengar will be unveiled soon. A trailer is expected to be released as well.
