Although nothing has been confirmed yet, media outlets believe that the leak is authentic. As per Tech Times, the source is actually the same leakster who provided accurate information about the Steam Summer Sale of 2014 and the Holiday Sale of 2013.
What's more, the date is also ideal for Valve to conduct the Steam Summer Sale. Last year's Summer Sale event started June 11. There were daily deals with rotating selections of discounted games every 12 hours. More deals also popped up here and there as the sale progressed. The same is expected this year.
