'Street Fighter V' DLC update news 2016: Character Urien and VS CPU feature to be added

The fighting video game, "Street Fighter V," is getting new downloadable content (DLC), and it's going to bring in a new character to the game.

According to reports, the next character set to be added to the roster is none other than the tyrannical Urien. Known as the brother of Gill in the "Street Fighter" franchise, Urien is expected to be released in-game sometime in September. Developer Capcom first announced that they will be including five new characters in the August and September updates.

Capcom also said that season pass owners will be getting colors 3â€“10 for the default and battle costumes on all six of the DLC fighters for free. However, some gamers became confused after this announcement since only five fighters were known to the public at the time.

The confusion has since been cleared, and Capcom says that Urien will be released sometime in September. "Urien is still planned to be released in September and we'll have more details to share next month," stated Capcom.

Updates regarding the matter are something that fans should still watch out for since Capcom might still change the schedule. A delay on the release of Urien is still possible, so fans should take note of this ahead of time. Nonetheless, fans may remember that Urien was first made playable with the Story mode update. The character's release next month will make him a full-fledged part of the roster.

Reports also say that Urien's Aegis Reflector will also make a return. It is a Super ability which builds a temporary electric fence that is useful for juggling enemies, spacing, and setups. It is a strength that creates a big impact on the character's enemy.

Aside from Urien's arrival, reports say that the new DLC will be coming with a VS CPU feature which will be available for free. It is actually something that fans have been waiting for in a long time. Finally, it has arrived, satisfying the much-awaited request of the fans.

"Street Fighter V" is available to play on PlayStation 4 and PC.
