Taylor Swift new album 2016 news: New songs hint dropped by Gigi Hadid

Taylor Swift is the talk of the town again after reports said that her romance with "Thor" star Tom Hiddleston has already ended. And now, the netizens are predicting that their recent breakup will most likely bring a new album.

A new album is not far-fetched as Swift's best friend, Gigi Hadid, recently hinted that her superstar girl clique is brewing something for her fans. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Online, the 21-year old model said that she is very grateful for Swift's presence at the Tommy Hilfiger runway show at New York Fashion Week to support her and her latest collaboration with the brand.

But aside from thanking the "Blank Space" singer, she also revealed that Swift is back at the studio. "She's obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that," Hadid said.

There was no confirmation from the popstar but fans are already squealing. Information from Hadid is legit enough for them to celebrate as they have been waiting for what comes after Swift's "1989" album which includes hits like "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood."

Also, reports noted that Swift is known to follow a two-year gap in releasing albums ever since her first self-titled debut in 2006. The "1989" album was released in October 2014 so several are hoping that the next one will be out this year. Swift could also be releasing a new single if she were to follow her pattern.

"Shake It Off" was released shortly before "1989" came out. Looking at Swift's latest life events, which include a heartbreaking split with ex-boyfriend DJ Calvin Harris, public drama with Kanye and Kim Kardashian West, and most recently, her short-lived affair with Hiddleston, it seems like Taytay has a lot of material for a new album.
