'Teen Mom OG' season 6 news: Trailer video released; features proposal, pregnancy result and couples therapy

MTV series "Teen Mom OG" is hitting the small screen again next month for its sixth installment. A trailer also has already been released and as expected, it featured more drama and emotional whirlwind.

As detailed on Us Weekly, "Teen Mom OG" season 6 will premiere on Aug. 22 on MTV. It will still feature the same cast which comprise of Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout. The new season is said to be one of the most intense seasons of the franchise to date.

Packed with a combination of happiness and tears, the trailer revealed that the upcoming season will feature the proposal of Taylor McKinney to Bookout. The video teased McKinney kneeling down on one knee with a ring and Bookout shocked by her boyfriend's surprise at the beach.

Aside from the proposal, season 6 will also cover the time Bookout found out that she was pregnant with her third child. She is seen in the teaser holding a positive pregnancy test result. ET reported that the reality star already gave birth to a baby boy last month though.

Meanwhile, plenty of drama is in store for Abraham. Her on and off again relationship with boyfriend Simon Saran will be included in the new season and so far, the teaser showed that the two are going through a rocky situation. The couple are seen fighting and attending therapy. But it seemed like things didn't go so well even with professional help as Abraham is seen walking out in tears from the session.

If fans are confused with Saran and Abraham's status, the latter's 7-year-old daughter Sophia is more confused. In the trailer, Sophia can be heard asking her mother if she is in love with Simon and if he is her boyfriend.

Lowell's struggle will also be featured in season 6. Fans may remember from last season that she opened up about going through post-partum depression. Lastly, season 6 will include Portwood preparing for her wedding with boyfriend Matt Baier.
