Just when fans are just starting to move on from Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) short-lived romance, "The 100" season 3 finale ropes them back in for what could be the last Clexa ride.

When Clarke charges into the City of Light to stop Alie (Erica Cerra) once and for all, she is stunned by who she sees there—Lexa. Her reappearance no secret anymore since photos of their reunion are all over the web.

"[Clarke's] definitely going to come across some things that she never thought she would again," Taylor told TV Guide. Careful not to spoil anything about this meeting in "The 100" season 3 finale, the star simply guaranteed, "I think fans are going to be very happy."

It remains a mystery how their reunion will go down. But it is amazing to think that amidst of Clarke's severest of troubles and heroic acts that endanger her life, Lexa will be there to guide her one way or another.

Fans of the Clarke-Lexa pairing were devastated after Lexa was killed off early in "The 100" season 3. The character's demise led to a backlash from fans, especially those who are fans of the couple.

Now, fans will simply have to trust Taylor's words about Lexa's epic return in "The 100" season 3 finale. It is believed that like Clarke, fans will officially get some closure on what happened.

However, Taylor does not see her character moving on from Lexa anytime soon. She lost her just after they decided to consummate their relationship. The actress says that Clarke's love for Lexa was "real" and it would be hard to find something like it again.

"I don't want her to move on to some other girl. She could, but it would be out of grief. It wouldn't be because she immediately falls in love with some other woman or what have you. I think Lexa was her love and it was so lovely to see her and feel that," Taylor explained.

Clarke and her crew's attempt to stop Alie for good has so far been fruitless. Much of it did not go as planned, as seen in the previous episode of "The 100" season 3.

Being the hero she truly is, Clarke decides to go to the City of Light, not minding the danger, to finally end this adversity once and for all.

"The 100" season 3 finale "Perverse Instantiation - Part Two" will air Thursday, May 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
