'The Affair' season 3 spoilers and update: Premiere date announced; fifth perspective coming?

American television drama series "The Affair" will be returning to the small screen soon. Network Showtime has already announced the premiere date.
According to a report by Variety, the series will air its season 3 episode 1 on Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. And once it comes back, it will be giving answers to what was left hanging in the second season. Noah (Dominic West) had previously taken the blame for Scotty's (Colin Donnell) death even though Alison (Ruth Wilson) pushed him and Helen (Maura Tierney) was the one who accidentally ran into him while driving the car. He could have saved himself but he chose to sacrifice so now it's either the truth will set him free or he will be stuck in prison for something that he did not do.
Not much has been revealed yet on how the third installment of the show will play out. In fact, as detailed by Hollywood Life, filming has not started yet. But executive producer Anya Epstein did reveal to the outlet that there will be a time jump once the show is back. This means that fans will not know right away what will happen with Noah's sacrificial decision.
"The Affair" season 3 might also add in another point of view. From two and then to four, the next one could be five with Cole's (Joshua Jackson) new wife Catalina possibly included. The basis is that Cole may find out in the next season that Alison's baby is his, which would clearly mean it will affect Catalina as she had no idea that her new husband slept with his old wife.
Tierney also gave away few hints on what might possibly take place in the third run. As reported by Los Angeles Times, Tierney revealed that the next season is going to be "back and forth a little bit." She also previously mentioned that there will be some big changes in the show. However, the publication cited that Tierney took back what she said and stated that the changes might not happen after all.
