After having her heart broken by Ben Higgins in Jamaica in the finale of "The Bachelor" season 20, JoJo Fletcher continues her search for true love in "The Bachelorette" season 12.

Speaking to Extra, the real-estate developer opened up about the heartbreak. "When I left Jamaica, I was heartbroken. I went home and had weeks to get over the real heartbreak part," JoJo said.

Despite this, the new bachelorette is happy for Ben and her fellow contestant Lauren Bushnell who she knows is an amazing person. "I'm such good friends with Lauren and I harbor no ill will towards Ben," JoJo continued.

Admitting she is "crazy excited" to meet new guys and look for love again in "The Bachelorette" season 12, JoJo spilled the beans about his ideal guy. "I just want somebody that's my best friend, that can make me laugh," she revealed.

"The Bachelorette" season 12 will be one of the most exciting and outrageous season of the reality show yet. During the premiere, JoJo won't only meet the 25 guys who will try to woo and win her heart. She will also be face to face with another guy.

The press release teases that an "unexpected visitor" will crash the party. However, tipster Reality Steve says he is not someone fans will expect such as Ben or even JoJo's ex-boyfriend.

He claims it will be Jake Pavelka from "The Bachelor" season 14. Previously engaged to Vienna Girardi, the reality show alum has apparently known JoJo and family for years and arrives there to give the leading lady some advice.

Former "The Bachelorette" stars Kaitlyn Bristowe, Desiree Hartsock Siegfried and Ali Fedotowsky are also stopping by to further prepare JoJo for her journey ahead.

"The Bachelorette" season 12 premieres Monday, May 23 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
