"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 ended with the possibility of Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) being brothers in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, but it's not because of their unbreakable bond.

Hate bred love in Leonard and Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) redo wedding as the former's father Alfred (Judd Hirsch) and Sheldon's mother Mary (Laurie Metcalf) were brought together by their abhorrence towards Beverly (Christine Baranski).
Since the two are staying in one hotel, they decided to share a cab on the way back. Leonard and Sheldon check on them after a while, but they can't contact them. Penny said that they shut their phones off as if they don't want to be disturbed.
Sheldon and Leonard cringe at what Penny was implying. It remains to be seen if a hookup happened between the best pals' parents but showrunner Steve Molaro promised that it will be revealed in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10.
"I don't think there's any thoughts of those two actually getting married or running off to do anything like that. This is just an initial baby step in whatever that can be," Molaro told The Hollywood Reporter.
"The details of exactly what happened, if we even ever find out all the details, will be left for the season premiere of season 10," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Although nothing is final yet, Molaro also said that "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will pick up right where season 9 left off so fans won't have to wait that long to find out what Alfred and Mary were doing.
Molaro also teased that in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, "the pregnancy will continue." He also does not think of the upcoming season as the long-running show's last. "Right now, on this show, we go one episode at a time," he said.
"The Big Bang Theory" still has so much to tackle including Penny unhappy at her job, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) having a baby and a lot more family members yet to debut.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is expected to premiere around September since the previous seasons premiered on that month. Bustle believes it will fall either on Sept. 22 or 29.
