'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 spoilers, plot news: Mary and Alfred hooks up; Penny introduces her family

The premiere of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is approaching fast, and fans who are hooked up with the television sitcom are excited to know already what happens next after the events of season 9.

Speaking of hooking up, season 10 will reveal the real status of Mary (Laurie Metcalf) and Alfred (Judd Hirsch) who were last seen in the previous finale episode getting in a room for some private time. What they really did behind the closed door is still unknown, but they did turn off their phones. Could they have switched off communications from others to have coitus?

According to spoilers, the first episode of season 10 will be titled "The Conjugal Conjecture," and fans speculate that it will have something to do with Mary and Alfred's alleged hookup. It is said that once Mary and Alfred return to the apartment of Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki), there will be an awkward silence.

However, Sheldon will break the silence and confront Alfred. He will ask him if he really did sleep with his mother. Alfred will deny the allegation, though, and tell Sheldon that they only had drinks and a pleasant conversation.

Spoiler reports also reveal that will be a lot of negativity in Mary and Alfred's relationship. Sheldon, in particular, will not be pleased with the thought of having Leonard as his stepbrother. He will even ask Leonard, "Is your father doing despicable things to my mother right now?"

Meanwhile, Penny and Leonard's second wedding ceremony will also take place in season 10. It is said that there will be a lot of drama as they prepare for the big day. Penny (Kaley Cuoco), in particular, will be facing her own family problems.

Her mother, Susan (Katey Sagal), and brother, Randall (Jack McBrayer), will make their first appearance. They will be attending Penny's wedding, but as expected, there will be some sort of conflict. Reports say that there will be a tension between Susan and Randall.

Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what season 10 will be all about. The upcoming season of "The Big Bang Theory" will premiere on Sept. 19 on CBS.
