As suspense heightens in "The Blacklist" season 3 amid Red (James Spader) getting closer and closer to the truth about Liz's (Megan Boone) killer, more questions about "The Blacklist" season 4 continue to pile up, including its release date.

Reports say that Red will be back for a whole new season this fall, specifically around September or October as the show always premiered during those months in the past three years.

Rumors have it that Red won't be the only one returning but also Liz (Megan Boone). Many fans believe that she is not dead yet. If the speculations are right, she will shock everyone of her return in "The Blacklist" season 4.

Viewers refuse to believe that Liz was killed after she gave birth to her daughter Agnes. But Red seems pretty bummed about it, so either he is doing an amazing job as a liar and actor in keeping Liz's true condition or she is really dead.

It is said that Boone just took a break from the show due to her pregnancy and a story had to be stitched to make her temporary exit work. This would also explain why Liz won't pop up until "The Blacklist" season 4.

Another reason that fans hold on to the possibility of Boone's character being alive is that in today's TV, death has become impermanent as shows continue to find a way out to bring a dead character back to life. This stunt may be the one at play in "The Blacklist" right now.

Liz's supposed death made Red very busy in the past episodes of "The Blacklist" season 3 tracking down the guilty party. In last week's episode, he successfully gets Susan Hargrave (Famke Janssen) to identify who this person is and even convinced her to join him in his attempt to take him down.

The action comes to a suspenseful close in the final two episodes of "The Blacklist" season 3" titled "Alexander Kirk" and "Alexander Kirk: Conclusion," respectively airing Thursday, May 12 then May 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
