Fans can't wait to jump on "The Blacklist" season 4 after a series of shocking revelations in the final hour of the third season. Although a lot of information has been revealed, new mysteries were also created.

Spoiler Alert! This article contains details about "The Blacklist" season 3 finale. Those who do not wish to know what happened in the episode should turn away now.

Liz's (Megan Boone) death, which shocked and had everyone talking for weeks, was nothing but an elaborate ruse by Liz herself. To pull it off, she had Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) help her out.

Liz faked her death in order to get away from Red (James Spader) and so can Tom, her and baby Agnes can finally be a real family far from danger. However, knowing "The Blacklist," this bliss will only be temporary.

This is where Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) comes into the picture. The supposed mastermind of Liz's ordeal claims he is her father, which, to her, is impossible since she watched her father die in front of her.

However, there might be some truth in his words—at least that's what executive producer Jon Bokenkamp wants viewers to think. "I don't know why we wouldn't believe him," he told Entertainment Weekly.

But if he is indeed Liz's father, co-executive producer John Eisendrath muses on the fact about how he could have the heart to hurt his own daughter.

The EPs are obviously coy about who Kirk really is but they did tease that the big reveal about his identity in "The Blacklist" season 4 will also help fans know the truth about Liz and Red's relationship.

"What I do promise is that Alexander Kirk and his relationship with Liz will ultimately give us a far deeper understanding of Red's relationship to Liz in season 4," Bokenkamp teased.

Fans have long surmised that Red is actually Liz's father. The big reveal about Kirk moving into "The Blacklist" season 4 certainly complicated the situation.

"The Blacklist" season 4 is expected to premiere this fall.
