'The Bold and the Beautiful' Sept. 9 episode recap: Ridge and Brooke reminisce; Eric pops the question
"The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers for Friday, Sept. 9 predicted that the episode would reminisce the past and this proved to be true. Things have been very intense lately with the Forrester clan's plans of removing Eric from his CEO position. But once in a while the tension takes a pause and the characters deal with their personal lives.
To recap the episode, Ridge had a heart-to-heart with Brooke. He hates that she must sacrifice and marry Bill but Brooke said this is something she wants to do. To Brooke, Ridge said, "But even if you marry the guy, you'll always be my Logan."
Ridge is still all about pushing his plans of kicking out Eric from the top but that won't stop him from wooing Brooke in between. Fans wonder if the two will ever rekindle their romance. However, this probably will not happen because Brooke will wed Bill. Although they planned this as a way to get the company shares from Bill, Brooke may back out from the plan and ditch Ridge's scheme of taking over Forrester Creations.
Brooke is in love with Bill and she wants to be with him despite the efforts of Katie to play cupid to Ridge and Brooke. No one knows if the two may have their happy ending after all.
Meanwhile, Eric is still trying to figure out how to deal with his family going against his relationship with Quinn. He frustration leads him to consult someone from his past — his dead wife, Stephanie. In the episode, he talks to her portrait and pours out the burden he has been carrying.
Shortly after, Quinn enters the room and said she feels bad for the trouble she has caused. In an impulsive moment, Eric proposes to her and she agrees. As the two kiss, Stephanie's portrait crashes on the floor.
Life without Stephanie has been difficult for Eric. Quinn's entrance in his life has brought him so much happiness and he only wants to be supported by his family. But this will likely not happen since Quinn has been such a nuisance to the Forrester children and grandchildren.
"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
