'The Flash' season 3 episode 4 spoilers: Jesse Quick suits up; The Flash gets trapped in mirror world

In a show that features time traveling, anything is possible. So it should come as no surprise that Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) is set to return in the next episode of "The Flash."
It is still not clear how Captain Cold is back, but this may well be one of the effects of flashpoint. Could it be that in this timeline, the ice-wielding thief did not get recruited into Rip Hunter's (Arthur Darvill) crew in "Legends of Tomorrow" and is thus still as villainous as when he first appeared in "The Flash"? Or will he still be an ally to Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) all along? Episode 4 titled "The New Rogues," will surely shed some light to the mystery of Captain Cold's seeming resurrection.
According to the official synopsis released by The CW, Captain Cold will not be the only one vying for Barry's attention. A new meta, christened with the name Mirror Master (Grey Damon) by Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), will also be waging havoc in Central City.
This villain has the ability to travel through mirrors and, as Barry will soon find out, trap people inside it. He seems to have a bone to pick with Captain Cold, and is looking to take revenge on the man.
Meanwhile, newest speedster Jesse Quick's (Violett Beane) training with Barry also continues, and this episode will see her finally suiting up and accompanying the Flash out in the battlefield. But when she defies Barry's orders, a disastrous consequence ensues. Is this in reference to the Flash getting trapped into the mirror or something else much worse?
The official preview for episode 4 also features the beginnings of what can potentially become a rivalry between Harrison and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) on who can come up with an alias for their future meta villains faster.
"The Flash" season 3 episode 4 airs on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
