It looks like Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be having more to deal with on his plate this upcoming season as two more villains have been cast for his rogues gallery. Ashley Rickards ("Awkward") has been cast as Rosalind "Rosa" Dillion a.k.a. The Top, and Joey King ("The Dark Knight Rises") will play Magenta.

According to ComicBookMovie, Rickard's character, The Top, was originally a man in the comics (named Roscoe Dillion). Her version, however, will still retain the character's control of centrifugal force. The Top is said to have a close relationship with Grey Damon's Mirror Master, and they will supposedly take The Flash on together as a team.

Speaking of Mirror Master, this season will apparently show the origin of how the vainest thief in The CW's DC Universe gained power over every reflective surface. His story will also be tightly connected to that of Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold. Executive producers Aaron and Todd Helbing said, "It's the origin story of him, but it's this struggle between Mirror Master and Captain Cold and you get to see who comes out on top." The two EPs also shared their excitement of having Miller back on set with them as Miller has easily become a fan-favorite of the show.

In other news, Joey King, who played a younger Talia al Ghul in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" has been cast as Frances "Frankie" Cane a.k.a. Magenta. According to ComicBook.com, her character has the power to manipulate metal, but the powers cause her villainous alter-ego, Magenta, to emerge. There has been no news, however, if Magenta's powers are connected to DC's master of magnetism, Doctor Polaris — her name is oddly a few letters away from the "X-men's" Magneto.

With Mirror Master, The Top, and Magenta this coming third season, the Flash will definitely have a run for his money.

The third season of "The Flash" is set to premiere on Oct. 4, 2016.
