'The Flash' season 3 rumors: Fans will see Jesse Quick suited up

The CW's "The Flash" has more than one speedster appearing in the show. There have been appearances from Reverse-Flash, Kid Flash, and Black Flash. However, there hasn't been a female speed-force user in the show — until now. There have been reports that Violett Beane, who plays Jesse Wells in the show, has been spotted wearing a superhero costume for Jesse Quick.
According to ComicBook.com, Wally West won't be the only new speedster introduced in the upcoming season. A self-proclaimed "autograph hound" on Twitter managed to get Beane's autograph on the set of the "Flash" in Vancouver, and Beane was said to have signed it dressed in full Jesse Quick garb. No photos have surfaced of the costume as of now, but she is said to have "red pants like Barry's."
However, it is unconfirmed whether Jesse Quick will only be appearing in the "Flashpoint" timeline or the regular timeline. No information has also surfaced on whether the costume will make an appearance in Earth-1 or Earth-2.
In the comics, Jesse was the daughter of superhero Johnny Quick, who taught his daughter how to produce the formula that gave him super speed. The formula worked on Jesse, but she opted to finish her education instead of becoming a costumed crime-fighter, much to her father's dismay.
Jesse's mother is also another superheroine who goes by the alias, Liberty Belle. In the comics, she inherited both of her parents' powers. Jesse is able to tap into the speed force by visualizing the formula: 3X2(9YZ)4A. She has super speed and flight, and she also has her mom's super-strength. The super-strength is achieved by visualizing a mantra like her father's, but as of now, Jesse's father is unable to decipher exactly what makes the mantra work.
Jesse Quick is set to appear in the third season of "The Flash," premiering this Oct. 4.
