'The Originals' season 4 spoilers, plot news: Davina set to return from the grave?

Despite the brutal result that came out of Davina's (Danielle Campbell) death, it turns out that fans haven't seen the last of the young witch and she could be back in "The Originals" season 4.

Campbell believes that her character will return from the grave in "The Originals" season 4, although she isn't sure how the show will do it.

"Davina has won the hearts of quite a few of the characters, so they're going to do their best to bring her back," the actress told Entertainment Weekly.

"But nothing on this show's easy so I'm guessing there's going to be some setbacks along the way," the actress added. In a TVLine interview, Campbell admitted that there's a lot to consider in bringing her character back in "The Originals" season 4.

Campbell said that her character's comeback will depend on the story arcs and availability, adding that it will greatly rely on what happens in "The Originals" season 4.

Davina is not the only one with the possibility of returning. Rebekah (Claire Holt) is expected to return as well in "The Originals" season 4.

After being absent for a while, Rebekah popped up in the season 3 finale, where she attempted to stop Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) from killing Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

"We sort of left it open-ended at the end of last season," the star told Access Hollywood. "If all goes to plan, Rebekah will be back," Holt continued.

"The Originals" fans have been wanting to see Rebekah back in action after being out for so long. Fans can expect her in "The Originals" season 4 since it is expected to tackle the attempt of bringing Klaus back and the Mikaelsons back on their feet again.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until early next year to be able to see what happens in "The Originals" season 4.
