Fans will meet a new werewolf in "The Originals" season 4 in the person of Keelin, who will be played by "Containment" star Christina Moses, pictured below.

Keelin is not just a werewolf. She is the only surviving werewolf in her line, but there's more to this "The Originals" season 4 newcomer.

Moses' character also happens to be a bisexual emergency room (ER) doctor and a "smart, strong resourceful" one at that, according to TVLine.

After Keelin's family was hunted leading to their extermination, she made sure that she won't be tracked as well to avoid the doom of her werewolf line.

In turn, she went off the radar and found it best not get close to anyone. She hasn't been able to live her life in peace ever since, as she constantly fears for her safety.

However, her life (and the years of making herself invisible) is about to turn upside down in "The Originals" season 4 when she crosses paths with the Mikaelson family.

It is a mystery how her life will be entwined with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and company in "The Originals" season 4, but rumor has it that she may be one of the keys that will help Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) in saving the almost fallen vampire family.

When the third season of "The Originals" ended, Hayley was left with the mission to save the Mikaelsons, who have been mostly killed by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).

According to "The Originals" season 4 spoilers, Hayley will ask for help from a werewolf to find a cure and Keelin might be just the right individual for the job.

It is a mystery for now how Hayley is going to save the Mikaelson family. Apart from the possibility of Keelin helping her out, it is rumored that baby Hope could be of help in the mission too.

"The Originals" season 4 was moved to The CW's midseason lineup and will now premiere early next year.
