'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' news: Porsha Williams rushed to hospital; Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas sell Atlanta home

Reality TV series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is currently on hiatus, but drama and eventful happenings never really stop for the lives of the cast.

Recently, reports said that Porsha Williams was rushed to an Atlanta hospital after collapsing at a parking lot. The medical diagnosis for her collapse is not known, but it is said that the 35-year old reality star fell to the ground in the shopping center parking lot and was seen gasping for air.

Several witnesses were quick to call 911 and get help for Williams who had already collapsed by then. Fortunately, Atlanta Fire and Rescue quickly responded to the calls and brought Williams to a nearby hospital. Speculations that surfaced suggested that Williams fainted that day because of missing her meals. However, it's not the first time that the reality star faced a health issue.

Fans of the show may recall that Williams almost fainted back in March due to a low blood sugar. TMZ reported that Williams has recovered from the scary incident, but she has not spoken about it yet. Currently, she is filming with her co-stars for season 9 of the show.

In other news, reality TV star Cynthia Bailey is making some progress with her divorce with her estranged husband, Peter Thomas. Reports say that the two have already sold their Atlanta home, which is a four-bedroom, five bathroom home, for an estimated amount of $699,000.

The house was bought less than a month after the ex-couple put it up on sale in late July. The two separated in March, and Thomas has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, while Bailey chose to remain in Atlanta.

Bailey will reportedly return to the show for another round along with co-stars Williams, Kenya Moore, and Kim Zolciak who will be making a comeback if confirmed.

Zolciak left the show after the fifth season. She had some minor appearances after like joining a season's reunion special, but she mentioned that she would no longer take part anymore. It seems like the wind changed direction, though, as she may be set to take the spot that NeNe Leakes vacated.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 9's premiere date is yet to be confirmed, but it will premiere sometime this year.
