'The Sims 4' cheat codes news 2016: Free update brings nanny; cheat codes available
Life simulation video game "The Sims 4" continues to be a well-loved game even until now. And each time, Electronic Arts adds in new stuff for all the gamers to enjoy.

Just recently, "The Sims 4" released a patch that added a nanny into the game. The official website detailed that Sims can now hire a nanny who charges an hourly rate. They will stay up to a total of 24 hours for parent Sims who just wants to go out without tagging along the kids.
To hire a nanny, Sims will only need to pick up a phone and call one. They can find it under Career and Household menu of the Hire a Service area. It's also detailed that nannies not only look after the kids but they also help in growing the child's Sims' skills and even act as their new best friend for a day.
Aside from the nanny, the patch also included a feature that lets players adjust the lighting by room. It also came with bug fixes. The new additions arrived with the "Backyard Stuff" pack.
For gamers who want to cheat their way through the game in "The Sims 4," cheat codes are available. They have actually been around since the release of the version. To those who want to play with cheat codes, a forum user detailed some handy codes that they can use.
To start, players must enter a certain key sequence. Windows PC users can enter the code by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C while Mac users can enter it with Cmd+Shift+C. A cheat console will then appear and this is where players can key in the cheat codes.
Some of the popular codes are 'kaching', 'rosebud' and 'motherlode'. The first two both add 1,000 simoleons to the household funds while the third one adds 50,000. When gamers type in 'help' into the cheat console, it will display all available commands. Typing in 'death.toggle [true|false]' will turn death on or off entirely in the game.
