'The Sims 4' DLC release date news update: 'Backyard Stuff' details to be revealed in 'next 3 months'
"The Sims 4" is getting a new stuff pack called "Backyard Stuff," according to the latest reports. However, fans will have to wait for a while before they hear more about it.
On Twitter, "The Sims" producer Graham Nardone was asked by a fan when the "Backyard Stuff" will be released. His answer suggested that the next "The Sims 4" downloadable content (DLC) is still being worked on.
"The next stuff pack will be officially announced sometime over the next three months, with plenty of info to share at that time," Nardone promised in reply about the next "The Sims 4" DLC.
The official Twitter account of "The Sims" also teased that there's a new stuff pack on the way, and its teaser hint that this "The Sims 4" DLC will allow Sims to unwind outside. They had lemonades to sip and even a picnic basket to chomp through as they shared what looks like one big barbeque table. There's even a small wind spinner in front as a decorative touch.
Although Electronic Arts has not officially announced that the next "The Sims 4" DLC will be "Backyard Stuff," previous leaks hint that it will be.
Before it was taken down, Synnex had a listing pertaining to "Kids Room Stuff," which was just released followed by a listing about the unannounced "Backyard Stuff."
Considering that "Kids Room Stuff" was already released proving the accuracy of the information on the site, it is highly likely that "The Sims 4" DLC fans will be getting next is "Backyard Stuff."
Apart from the upcoming stuff pack for "The Sims 4," gamers can also expect more content to be revealed in three months along with it.
"The quarterly teaser touches on upcoming content from the next three months, not just the new stuff pack," Nardone said in another tweet.
At the moment, players can enjoy catching Voidcritters, doing puppet shows and redecorating kids' room in the latest "The Sims 4" stuff pack EA released.
