'The Sims 4' PS4 and Xbox One release date news update: Kids Room Stuff DLC announced, console version drops this year?
Electronic Arts and Maxis have been actively updating "The Sims 4," but they haven't talked about the launch of the game's console version. However, there are reports that the title is headed to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One this Fall.

Fans expected that the announcement regarding the release of "The Sims 4" to the consoles will be made during the EA Play event. Clearly, that did not happen and there was not a single mention of the game.
"The Sims 4" PS4 and Xbox One is still expected to be released this Fall, despite the lack of concrete details. As per reports, the porting from PC to console is proving to be a tedious process.
But despite the silence, EA and Maxis continue to expand "The Sims 4" on personal computers. In fact, another game pack has been announced for the life simulation video game.
After releasing the Dine Out downloadable content (DLC) earlier this month catering to foodies, EA is now ready to drop another expansion pack, this time for the kids at heart.
The Kids Room Stuff DLC for "The Sims 4" has been announced for a June 28 release. As the title suggests, kids will be the center of the pack as it offers loads of good stuff to keep these young ones busy.
Included the DLC is a Puppet Theater, a fun way to for the kids to boost their social development by delivering a puppet performance in front of friends and family. There are five unlockable plays kids can do.
The expansion pack also introduces the Voidcritter Battle Station, which is basically the "Pokemon" for "The Sims 4."
Voidcritters, as explained in a blog post, are "cute and occasionally ferocious monsters" that pop up here and there and can be captured, collected, trained and traded by children.
"The Sims 4: Kids Room Stuff" DLC will also include new objects that are "aged up in style" and "expressive and unique" new outfits. Kids can also pass time by tuning in to the Tween Pop radio station or flipping through the BEtween TV channel.
"The Sims 4: Kids Room Stuff" will be out on June 28.
